About the role
While financial or bookkeeping experience would be advantageous, it is not essential. A comprehensive handover and ongoing support will be provided by the outgoing Treasurer and our external bookkeeping service. BGKLLEN uses Xero, and all finances are independently audited each year.
The Committee of Management meets six to eight times per year, both online and in-person. Meetings are professionally facilitated and typically run for one hour.

About the organisation
BGKLLEN is a registered charity and incorporated association that creates and
facilitates strategic partnerships to support young people as they engage with
education, build relationships with educators and industry, and develop the
skills required to transition successfully to the next stage of their lives. We
work in collaboration with all secondary schools across Bayside, Glen Eira, and
Kingston, as well as tertiary education providers, local industry, and
community organisations.
